I am by no means a specialist just a frustrated, potential customer.Again I picked a few comics from a longbox. He offered me a job as a comic specialist to be a part of some podcast. I told him to order Amazing Spiderman and Immortal Hulk, because SM always sells and Immortal Hulk is hot right now. There were only a handful of titles on the shelf. A nice guy, but he admittedly knew nothing about comics. Dismissive and abrupt no sale.My second visit, spoke with a friendly manager. At the register the owner wouldnt sell me any comics, stating he had to reevaluate the grade and value of the comics. New owner bought the name but cannot operate at any nominal capacity.My first visit, I picked up a few back issues from a longbox, each comic priced with dragons den price tags. This store is a shell of its former self. Oh we think we will have all the orders processed and shipped by end of week. Bottom line is you don’t deserve to be in business for as badly as you mismanaged this situation and lied so many times to the public. So apparently you decided to handle it with part timers when you should have worked literally around the clock to rectify the situation. Pretty bad that when I called the one time the person said oh the person handling the monarch situation doesn’t come in until 6. And then when the time comes to finally deliver you can’t deliver most of it and it takes you 3-4 weeks longer than the other stores to do so. We can’t take it back but somehow it’s ok for you to hold onto it for 4 plus months with little to no communication. We put our money into your hands and it’s a binding contract. Completely mismanaged the monarch situation.
